MASK ‘n’ ASK: the one we secretly play around the office.

Family visit alert!!! An occasional series to solve your ‘Help! How will we entertain them?!?’ emergencies.

This one's suitable for: all ages. No – really, it is.

One of our most popular all-the-family games, Mask ‘n’ Ask is the one that prompts you to don a ridiculous cartoon animal mask via a special pair of mask-holding spectacles.

Stay with us on this one.

That ‘all ages’ tag might already be igniting a lightbulb; kids love it of course, but there’s nothing quite so funny as seeing dad all serious in a badger mask, unless it’s grandma got up as a parrot.

(When you're bored with the animals, there's a second collection of human-based cartoon characters on the flipside of the masks)

The board game involves asking a series of questions to work out who or what you ‘are’ – it’ll keep everybody happy for a good period of time, and you can help out the younger ones as much as you like to keep them involved and interested.

The big bonus is that kids simply love trying on all the different masks; it'll occupy them for ages whilst you buzz off to fix dinner.

Of course there’s nothing stopping you seeking it out for your own grown-up dinner parties, or simply just wearing the masks around the house when you’re all on your own. It’s the first one we reach for when we need to unwind in the office.

“I’m calling from Drumond Park and I’m really not sure that you’re taking this conversation seriously.”
